Anne T. Brennan BENNINGTON, VT Anne T. Brennan, 82, of Gage Street, died Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington, after a year long struggle with lung cancer. Born in Troy, N.Y., daughter of John F. Brennan and Mary Alice Philp Brennan. Raised in Troy, she was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School Class of 1946. Following high school Anne worked at the former Leonard Hospital, in Troy for two years. She then enrolled in the Putnam Memorial School of Nursing in Bennington, and worked at that hospital for 38 years. Anne bowled for many years. She enjoyed swimming at the recreational center and after retirement returned back to the hospital as a volunteer there. She also volunteered at the Bennington Museum. Anne leaves her sister Maureen Holt and Gary of Troy, and her nieces and nephew, Kathy McDermott and Tom of Manchester, Conn., Jack Holt, of Troy, Carolyn Mistarka and Gary of New Paltz, and Gerri Borden and Gary of Troy. She also leaves her many grandnieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Sally Meehan and Bill, and Helyn Brennan. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services will be held at the convenience of the family, officiated by the Rev. David Jones of St. Patrick's Church, Troy. Arrangements are being handled by the MCLOUGHLIN & MASON FUNERAL HOME, corner of 109th and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh.
