-->Anne Riebling Taylor SPARTANBURG, SC-- Anne Riebling Taylor, 76, formerly of 644 Jonas Circle, Chesnee, and Skylyn Place, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2007, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born June 26, 1931, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Louis C. Riebling and Eleanore McCarthy Riebling Weaver and the widow of Dr. E. C. Taylor. She assisted her husband in his chiropractic practice until his death in 1978 and retired from Sherman Chiropractic College where she worked for 15 years in the Health Center named in honor of her husband. Mrs. Taylor was an active member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharist Minister. She is survived by two stepchildren, Kaye T. McCurry and her husband Don of Woodruff, and Jerry E. Taylor, Sr. and his wife Martha of Spartanburg; three step-grandchildren, eight step-great-grandchildren; a niece, Angie Dobos and her husband Gary of North Augusta; and a nephew, Peter Riebling of Valdosta, GA. She was predeceased by her brother, Louis P. Riebling of North Augusta. A Christian Wake service will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, September 21, 2007, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, with visitation to follow until 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM. Saturday, September 22, 2007, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church conducted by the Rev. James M. Crowley. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 161 North Dean Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302; or the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, Attn: SRHS Foundation Office, 101 East Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
