Anne Rayline Miller OTISFIELD -- Anne Rayline Miller died peacefully on May 20, 2011. The daughter of Raymond and Charlotte (Lowell) Philbrick, she was born on April 29, 1936, in Rumford. She was educated in South Portland schools and spent 30 years as a teller at a local Portland bank. As a child she learned to play classical piano and not only was classical music her passion, but she also played the organ at her church for many years. In 1957 she married William Miller Jr., and though they later divorced, they remained best friends and roommates. Shortly before her death, both she and Bill moved to live with their granddaughter in Virginia Beach, Va. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Juliette Stevens and her husband Matthew of Bowdoinham; as well as two of the dearest grandchildren anyone could ask for: her granddaughter, Patricia Koenig and her four children, Kayla, Connor, Christopher and Cooper, currently living in Virginia Beach, Va.; and her grandson, Steven Freeman and his wife Nicole of Woolwich. A small graveside ceremony will be held in Otisfield on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011. Please contact her granddaughter at mrs.koenig@hotmail.com if you knew her and would like to attend her service.
