<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Jan. 24, 1926 - July 12, 2014 Anne R. "Peggy" Johnson, of Lipscomb, AL went home to be with the Lord at the age of 88 on Saturday, July 12, 2014. She was a member of Union Baptist Church for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil J. Johnson, and her daughter, Terease Johnson Morris. She is survived by her granddaughter, April Morris Davenport (Charlie); two great granddaughters, Gillian and Emma Grace; her niece, Marie Waldrop (Bob); two nephews, Kenneth (Ava Dale) and Dan (Jan) Lackey, and other great nieces and nephews. Peggy was a loving, generous christian. She loved to cook and do for others. She will be so missed by her family and friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home with burial at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. David Mahaffey and Bro.
