Anne R. Calabrese HAMILTON - Anne R. Calabrese 78, of Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton. Born in Pennsylvania, Mrs. Calabrese was raised in Hazelton, PA before moving to Trenton. She then settled in Hamilton in 1957. Mrs. Calabrese started her career working at Princeton University Press, she then began her own business, which allowed her to work from home and raise her family. Known as "Anne's Catering", she was known locally for her delicious catering and baking. She later worked at A-1 Collections in Hamilton and retired as co-owner of Basically Balloons in Hamilton. Mrs. Calabrese was a communicant of St. Raphael's-Holy Angel Parish, a member of the Cathedral Alumni Association and a former member of St. Raphael's PTA. Mrs. Calabrese was a loving mother and diligent worker. She was very devoted to her family and her career. Predeceased by her parents, Dominic and Anna (Stranko) Furlani, her husband, Leonard Calabrese, Jr. and her sister, Mary Oswald, Mrs. Calabrese is survived by her sons, Leonard Calabrese III and Dominic Calabrese and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will begin Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. at Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at St. Raphael's R.C. Church, 3500 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton. Family and friends may call on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
