Ft. Myers, Fla. - Anne Finneran Noonan, mother of James A. Noonan of North Stonington, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2005 with all her family by her side.She was born in Boston, Mass., on March 8, 1918, the daughter of James Finneran and Catherine Geraghty Finneran.She was an avid golfer , enjoyed bingo, and large family gatherings.On March 31, 1951, she married William Noonan in Quincy, Mass. They raised five children in Hingham and Marshfield. They retired to Venice, Fla., in 1981.She was predeceased by her brothers, James, Thomas, and Joseph Finneran; and her sister, Kathleen Denahy.She is survived by her sister, Marguerite Fallon; her husband, William Noonan; and her children, William, James, Robert, and Joanne Noonan, and Patricia Ellis; and grandchildren, Kathleen and Elizabeth Noonan of North Stonington, and Geraghty Anne Ellis and William Noonan of Florida.All arrangements are private.
