Anne Miller Anne (Dressler) Miller passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2008, at the age of 87 years. She was born on October 4, 1920, and raised on a farm near Churchbridge, Saskatchewan. After moving to Saskatoon she met her husband and they lived on a farm in the Grasswood area for about 20 years before moving to Saskatoon. Anne is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Fred; and her children and their spouses: Sharon Skjeie (Jack) and Garth Miller (Jennifer Roy). She is also survived by five grandchildren: Craig (Lori), Tanis (Dallas), Rhett, Nolan, and Desai, and four greatgrandchildren: Charnalle, Cooper, Brennyn and Presley. Anne is survived by her brother, Marvin (Marilyn); sisters-in-law, Evelyn and Janice; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Andrew Dressler and Dora Wagner; her brothers, Len, George and Walter; her sister, Esther; and her great granddaughter, Morgan. Anne was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who had a wonderful knack for listening and was always interested in what was said. She had a green thumb and her gardens and flowers were always impeccable. Anne loved traveling, especially to Salmon Arm and Mesa. She loved to socialize and very much enjoyed her last thirteen years with her wonderful friends at Brandtwood Estates. Anne will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her, but none more than her soul mate of 66+ years, her loving husband Fred. They had a strong faith and were active in the Lutheran church, singing in the choir for many years. Anne had a fulfilling and rewarding life and she made a lasting imprint. The family would like to give thanks to special friends Joanne Janzen and Barb Bacon. A Memorial Service will be held at the Faith Lutheran Church, 2801 Preston Avenue, Saskatoon, SK on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at the Columbarium at St. John's Cathedral, 816 Spadina Crescent E Saskatoon, SK. Donations in Anne's memory may be made to a charity of choice.
