MARTIN Sr. Anne, CSJP, 92 of Englewood Cliffs, entered eternal rest at Mother Agatha Brown Infirmary, St Michael Villa, Englewood Cliffs, NJ on May 4, 2011. Born in Newark January 14, 1919. Daughter of the late Edward Martin and Ellen McGlinchy. Sister entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Peace at St. Michael Villa Novitiate, Englewood Cliffs, NJ in December, 1939 and pronounced final vows there February, 1946. She received a B.S. in Medical Technology, Seattle University, M.A. in English, and Certification in Pastoral Ministry. Sister Ministered in the following assignments: Instructor at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eugene, Oregon, Medical Technician at St. Luke's Hospital, New Bern, NJ: Immaculate Heart Academy, English Department; St. Peter's College, English and Music appreciation; St. James Hospital, Medical Technologist: Holy Name Hospital, Lab Technician, Organist and Director of Nurses Choir; and Catholic Charities, Coordinator of Volunteer Services. Sister has been a piano teacher and a lover of music. Sister is survived by her sister, Mary Ekstrom and many cousins. Visiting hours at St. Michael Villa, Englewood Cliffs, NJ on Sunday, May 8, 2011. 2-7 PM Liturgy of Christian Burial Monday, May 9, 2011 at 9:30 AM at St. Michael Villa Chapel.
