RAYMOND -- Anne Marie (Fairbanks) Martin, 73, died peacefully Feb. 5, 2009, in her home surrounded by her loving family after a battle with cancer. She was born and raised in Hartford, Conn., and had lived in Chelmsford, Mass., and Andover, Mass., before moving to Raymond. She worked as an administrative assistant at Lam Research in Wilmington, Mass., for many years before becoming a nanny to her youngest grandchildren. She was an avid New England sports fan and especially loved the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. She loved antiquing, cribbage, Scrabble, bowling and walking her dogs on the beach. She was predeceased by a son, William D. Martin II; and her former husband, William D. Martin. IN HER LIFE: Her family members include her loving companion of 30 years, Robert L. Guillette of Raymond; and her daughters, Linda L. Bronson of Raymond, Kat and her husband, Walter L. Stevens, of Newport, Karen M. and her husband, Kenneth Fournier, of Pelham, and Jodi and her husband, Jeffrey Runge, of Chester; a brother, Carl B. and his wife, Jeanette C. Fairbanks, of Berlin, Md.; and a sister, Eleanor J. and her husband, Frazer Pettus, of Davenport, Fla. She also leaves her daughter-in-law, Rosemary Martin of Lawrence, Mass.; and her grandchildren, Keith Martin, Jil Moreau, Barry Bronson Jr. and his wife, Katie, Timothy Bronson, Kristopher Fournier, Rachael Fournier Eli Runge, Asa Runge and Adi Runge; one great-granddaughter, Katie Martin; and several nieces and nephews. SERVICES: Calling hours are Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, Mass. Funeral services are Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
