Anne Marie "Nancy" Clark, 82, of Watchung, N.J., and formerly of Nutley, N.J., passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013. The funeral is from the S.W. Brown Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley, N.J., on Monday at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, Nutley, at 10:30 a.m. Cremation will be private. Committal at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J., will follow at a later date. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. Born in Newark, N.J., to John J. and Mary L. (Havey) Clark, she lived in Nutley her entire life, coming to Watchung this past year. Ms. Clark was an executive assistant for many years before retiring. Nancy was an active member of her church and community; she was past president of the parish council, a member and past president of the Rosary Altar Society, and a member and past regent of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Gratia No. 751, all at St. Mary's Church in Nutley. She was also a member and past vice president of the Nutley Seniors Friday Afternoon Club, Nutley Chapter of AARP, a member of VFW Stuart E. Edgar Post 493 Ladies Auxiliary, and the Nutley Irish American Civic Association, as well as a former member of the Nutley Republican Club. Predeceased by her parents and her brothers, James, Jerome "Jerry," and Joseph Clark, she is survived by her brother, John J. Clark and his wife, Lillian, and many dear nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews; and great-great-nieces and -nephews.
