Jackson, age 86 of Vernon passed away Saturday afternoon, Sept. 20, 2014 at the Oneida Health Care surrounded by her loving family.She was born on April 2, 1928 in Clark Mills, N.Y., daughter of William and Stella Mahady and attended Vernon Central School.On Aug. 30, 1975 she married Albert Jackson in Vernon, N.Y. and the couple had shared a loving union of over 38 years together until Bert's death in May of 2014.Prior to her retiring Anne was employed with Oneida Ltd. She and Bert later went on to own standard bred horses at Vernon Downs.Surviving are her children, Mary (Brad) Scarbrough, Tom (Barb) Dundon, Jerry Dundon and Deb Wilson; ten grandchildren that she adored, Theresa Sunder, Karl Sunder, Melissa McNamara, Lacey Jones, Billy Stewart, Richie Stewart, Scott Stewart, Jason Dundon, Justin Dundon; numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Also surviving are three sisters, Phyllis, Lucille, June, and two brothers, Fran and Bill. Anne was predeceased by one son, Bobby and one daughter, Sharon, three brothers, Robert, Charles, Tom and one sister, Mary.In keeping with Anne's wishes there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be in Vernon Center Cemetery, Vernon Center, N.Y. on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 11 a.m. Friends and family are invited to a gathering at Knoxboro Community Church, 5563 Knoxboro Road, Knoxboro, N.Y., immediately following the service. Arrangements are with the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., Vernon, N.Y. In lieu of flowers please remember Holy Family Church, Peterboro Street, Vernon, N.Y. 13476 where Anne attended church. Envelopes will be available at the gathering.
