March 18, 2007 Anne "Lois" Jordan, 85, of Howlett Hill, died Sunday at home. Born in Syracuse, she was a lifetime resident of the Howlett Hill area and a 1939 graduate of Vocational High School. Lois was a communicant of Holy Family Church. She enjoyed golfing and spending time with her family. Surviving are her husband of 64 years, William P. Jordan; sons, Thomas W. (Janet) Jordan of Freeville and William M. (Valerie) Jordan of Liverpool; daughters, Barbara (Saj) Gilani of Lancaster, Maureen Warn of Mendon and Christine (Peter) Miller of Phoenix; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus, and 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
