JORDAN Anne Jordan, age 90, passed away at her home in Waldoboro, on March 25, 2010 with her loving family by her side. Anne was born August 12th, 1919 in New Britain, the daughter of the late Albin and Stella (Korzinski) Lazarski. She attended local schools and was a graduate of New Britain High School, Class of 1936. After high school she attended and graduated from Moody's Secretarial School. During World War II she worked at Fafnir Bearing Company as a time keeper. On January 18th, 1946 she married her husband, Rowland L. Jordan, and the couple made their home in Fairfield, CT. After her two boys reached high school she left her job as a stay at home mom and began to work at the Bullard Company, as an executive secretary, until her retirement in 1982. After retiring Anne and her husband moved to Waldoboro. She was very active in many local groups. She was the treasurer of the Waldoboro Woman's Club for 13 years. She was a volunteer with the Waldoboro Historical Society, The Lincoln Home, and the German Cemetery. Her love for cooking and baking was apparent as she was always counted on to provide delicious treats for any of the clubs many bake sales. She enjoyed her work with the Woman's Club annual fundraiser "The Whale of a Sale". She was very fond of the senior tea, the lunch bunch, and the widows club. Anne was also very active in aerobics, something she did for over 20 years. She was a parishioner of St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Rockland, Maine. She truly led a life well lived and will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Rowland Jordan; a brother, Edward Lazarski; two sisters, Helen Lazarski and Mary Kurnik. Survivors include her two sons, Thomas A. Jordan, of Waldoboro, Maine, and David A. Jordan and his wife, Andrea, of Willimantic; grandchildren, Robert W. Caye, Jr. and his wife, Frances, of Wi mington, NC, Eddy F. Caye, of Norwich; great-grandchildren, Jordan Caye, of Killingly, Justin Caye, of Killingly; sister, Claire Murphy and her husband, Richard, of New Britain; nieces, Donna Barbieri, and her husband, Joseph, of New Britain, Marsha Allen, and her husband, Richard, of New Jersey, Linda Jordan, of California; nephews, James Murphy of Georgia, Richard Kurnik, and his wife, Joanne, of Burlington, Robert Kurnik, of Plainville, Robert Jordan, of Connecticut; several great nieces and nephews and one great-great-niece, Katie Parrish of Maryland. Her Beloved Cat, Molly. Visiting hours will be help on Tuesday March 30th, 2010 from 6 to 8 in the evening at the Hall Funeral Home 949 Main Street Waldoboro, ME 04572 with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Wednesday, March 31st, 2010 at 10am at St. Bernard's Catholic Church 150 Broadway Rockland Maine 04841. Should friends desire donations in Ann's memory may be made to the Humane Society of Knox County P.O. Box 1294, Rockland, Maine 04841 or to Kno-Wal-Lin 170 Pleasant St, Rockland Maine. Arrangements are entrusted to Hall Funeral Home 949 Main Street Po Box 363 Waldoboro, ME 04572.
