Anne Elizabeth Johnson, 94, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at Colonial Health and Rehab in Bardstown. She was the former Anne Williams, a former plant manager clerk for 32 years at South Central Bell, a member of St. Joseph Parish where she served on the Altar Society and was a member of Blue Army, Queens Daughters' and the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Morgan Johnson; her parents, John H. and Elizabeth Miles Williams; two sisters, Catherine Magruder and Julia Roberson; and a brother, John Williams Jr. Survivors include her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Hammer will officiate. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, with a prayer service at 6 p.m., and after 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Nelson County, 202 W. Stephen Foster Suite A, Bardstown, KY., 40004 and Mass of the Air.
