BENNINGTON - Anne Elizabeth Hamilton, 68, died June 27, 2011, at her home, after a long illness. She was born April 20, 1943, in Broadalbin, N.Y., the daughter of Eleazer and Helen (Begor) St. Louis. She graduated from Mount Anthony Union High School in Bennington. On July 23, 1995, she married Robert Hamilton in Bennington. Mrs. Hamilton worked for several years at Stanley Tools in Shaftsbury. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, watching game shows, and was an avid Elvis Presley fan. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Robin Westfall of Jacksonville, Fla., and Melissa Westfall of Pownal; a son, Richard Green, and a stepson, Robert Hamilton, both of Bennington; a stepdaughter, Linda Cote of Pittsfield, Mass.; five siblings, Charles St. Louis, Veronica Rhodes, both of Mayfield, N.Y., Victor St. Louis of Hoosick Falls, N.Y., Evelyn Fryzel of Hagaman, N.Y., and Pamela Peterson of Gloversville, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren, a step-granddaughter and a great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Paul, Robert and Eleazer Jr., and two sisters, Pauline Poultney and Constance Syzdek. The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 1, in St. John's Cemetery in North Bennington. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 30, at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home.
