Anne Douglas, conjointe de George Douglas, est décédée.
DOUGLAS Anne Teresa 20 January, 1921 24 June, 2002. Died after a long and patient fight against cancer. Anne was greatly loved by those who came in contact with her. Always ready to share an adventure and to enjoy the silly side of life, hers was a joyous and delightful personality. Born in Ireland, she trained as a nurse and later married her loving life partner. Together they adventured in England, India and Canada. Wherever she went she adapted easily and always saw the best of each situation. She excelled in many things not least of which was the joy she brought to so many people. In retirement she took up the challenge of duplicate bridge at the Victoria Bridge Club and became a Life Master. Anne was loved deeply and will be missed by her husband, George; daughter, Tara; son-in-law, Murray Frost; and son, Douglas St. John. Humble and unafraid, her spirit returns to God, who gave it. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Victoria Hospice Society, 1952 Fort St. Victoria, V8R 1J8. A Memorial service will be held at the Franciscan Chapel, 1076 Joan Crescent, on Friday, 19 July at 3pm, followed by a reception at home.
