ANDERSON, Anne C. "Nancy," 91, of Land O' Lakes, died November 16, 2008, and joined her husband, John R. "Bob" Anderson, and son, Charles R. She was surrounded by her loving family in her home. After raising 10 children in Pittsburgh, Pa., Nancy and Bob retired to Land O' Lakes in 1983. With time to spare, she learned to golf (nice putter)! She enjoyed bridge, dinners with friends, her church family and trips to visit her children. She was an accomplished pianist. At 91-years-young, she joined her friends daily at Senior Nutritional Center, entertaining them with her music! Nancy radiated love, kindness, joy and optimism! Nancy taught her children, "If you can' t say something nice, don' t say anything at all" and "Don' t say anything you don' t want published in the Pittsburgh Press!" She is survived by her children, Anne C. Cimador (Leonard), Mary C. Anderson, Elizabeth J. Anderson and Rose M. Anderson, all of Land ' O Lakes, Dr. John R. Anderson (Susan) of West Bloomfield, Mich., Bernard J. Anderson (Anna) of Vandergrift, Pa., Suzanne M. Hensen (Kurt) of St. Clair, Mich., Margaret M. Slenker (Dale) of Jacksonville, Fla., and Helene V. Deeds of Millvale, Pa.; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and best friend, Nancy (The Great 8). A Mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, Land O' Lakes, Fla., with burial at Bushnell National Cemetery.
