HARRIS, ANNA REBECCA, 82 (nee Scott - Schroeder) Ocala - "Ann" ,a retired Maryland state senator's aide, died July 6, 2006 at the Legacy House of Hospice. Born in Cambridge, MD, Mrs. Harris moved here in 1989 from Baltimore County, MD. Mrs. Harris, a Catholic, was active in local theatres, in both Ocala and Baltimore. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Clarence "Bud" J. Harris Jr. of Ocala; sons John S. Harris of West Palm Beach, Joseph N. Harris and James P. Harris both of Jacksonville, Michael D. Harris of Alabama, Thomas E. Harris of Baltimore, MD; Daughter Jeanann C. Ferguson of Baltimore, MD; brother David C. Schroeder of Long Beach, MS; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Mrs. Harris was predeceased by 3 grandchildren Melinda Stout, James Harris, and Michael Fitzpatrick. Memorial mass will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at 8:30 AM. Interment after mass in Church Memorial Garden with Father Patrick J. O'Doherty officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Ocala.
