Anna "Jean" Maxwell Lee, 89, died May 30, 2008. She was born in Hendersonville, N.C., and lived in Vero Beach, coming from Orlando. A graduate of Hendersonville High School, she attended Fassifern School for Girls, Hendersonville; Asheville Normal School for Girls and High Point College in North Carolina. She was the co-owner and innkeeper of Lee's Inn in Highlands, N.C. She was a member of Hendersonville Baptist Church. She also attended St. Michael's Episcopal and the First Presbyterian churches, both in Orlando. Survivors include her sons, John Maxwell Lee and Richard Wright Lee Jr. of Orlando; twin daughters, Laura Lee McKellar and Linda Lee Lyles of Vero Beach; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Edwin Maxwell; and sisters, MaryBelle Carpenter and Gladys Maxwell. Memorial contributions may be made to Senior Resource Association, 694 14th St. Vero Beach, FL 32960. SERVICES: Interment will take place in Hendersonville at a later date.
