Anna Mae Massey Smith SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mrs. Anna Mae Massey Smith, of 375 Serpentine Drive, Spartanburg, SC, entered into eternal rest Sunday evening, January 2, 2011 at the Magnolia Manor Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Posey Rogers and the late Mrs. Annie Massey. She was the widow of the late Mr. Roy Smith. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Sarah Harris Faucette; and her brother, Mr. Posey Massey. Mrs. Smith leaves to cherish her loving memories one daughter, Mrs. Melody Smith Hemphill; three sons, Mr. Douglas Smith of Greenville, SC, Mr. Roy Junior (Denietera) Smith, Jr., and Mr. Brian Smith, both of Spartanburg, SC; one sister, Ms. Karen Caraballo of Charleston, SC; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family is at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Melody Smith Hemphill of 4714 Worden Drive, Spartanburg, SC, in the Oak Forest Subdivision. J.W. Woodward Funeral Home
