Ms. Anna Mae Foster, age 85, of Flowery Branch, and formerly of Sugar Hill, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010.She is survived by her daughter, Jolyn Jenkins, Houston, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law, Ken and Joy Murphy, Lithonia, David and Paula Foster, Grayson, Larry and Janice Foster, Sugar Hill, Mike and Glenda Foster, Gainesville and Dennis and Judy Foster, Flowery Branch; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gene and Linda Murphy, Walland, Tenn., and Jerry and Evelyn Murphy, Walland, Tenn.; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruby and Jim Hutsell, Maryville, Tenn., Rebecca and J. D. Burchfield, Walland, Tenn., and Teresa Richardson, Townsend, Tenn.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.Ms. Foster was a native of Knoxville, Tenn. She was retired from Dick Lynott Company and also worked at Suwanee Grill for many years. She was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Flowery Branch.Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Benton and Dennis Foster officiating. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Duluth. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m.Arrangements by Junior E.
