LYONS, Anna (Nee Maloney) 1909-2010 Peacefully, in her sleep on Saturday, February 13, 2010 in her 101st year. Predeceased by her loving husband James J. Lyons; her sisters Mary, Sister Catherine (Grey Sister), Nell Maloney, Margaret Godin (Ken) and Frances French (John); her brothers Dr. Pat Maloney (Eleanor), Jim Maloney, QC (Catherine), Rev. Father Henry Maloney and Arthur Maloney, QC (Lillian). Anna was the last of the Maloney family of Eganville, Ontario. Loving mother of Mary Anne Siemonsma (Harry) of California and Jane Fitzsimmons in Ottawa. Proud grandmother of Julie Wherry (Jeff), Mark Siemonsma (Dawn), David, Nancy, Jane, Michelle, Mary Anne and Paul Siemonsma of California; Clayton Fitzsimmons (Linda), Mary Ann Fitzsimmons-Legault (Francis), Bill Fitzsimmons (Penny) of Ottawa, Jim Fitzsimmons (Darlene) of Toronto, Jennie Kendall (Malcolm) of Vancouver and many great-grandchildren. Anna's warmth and gentleness will be forever treasured. Her loving spirit will live on in our hearts. Special thanks to the staff at Medex for their compassionate care. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 153 Woodroffe Ave. (at Byron Ave.).
