SCOTTSBURG - Carter, Anna Lee Wyman, 94 passed away Wednesday, July 6 2011. She was born in Scottsburg on May 15 1917 to Chester and Flora Wyman. Anna Lee was a lifelong member of Scottsburg First Christian Church and the Homebuilders Class. She was an honorary member of Psi Iota Xi and the Eastern Star. She was always involved in PTA and a den leader for Cub Scouts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L Carter; and her son, T. Rodney Carter. She is survived by her daughter, Sara Anne (Larry) Gulley; her son, Harry Dee (Susan) Carter; and daughter-in-law, Nancy J Carter; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Stewart & Hoagland Funeral Home, Scottsburg IN. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The family requests memorials to be given to Scottsburg First Christian Church, Scottsburg IN, Rod Carter Needy Children's Fund, 1001 N. Harrison, Salem Middle School, Salem IN 47167 and Forget Me Not Ministries, PO Box 142, Sellersburg IN 47172.
