->October 15, 1945 - November 14, 2005 of Cheektowaga, NY. Anna was born in Radomysl, Poland of Tadeusz and Maria. She moved from Poland in 1978 and was well known for manufacturing Pierogis for a local business and was active in the Polish community. Beloved wife of Stanislaw Jakson and devoted mother of Beata Strek (Richard), Remy (Joanna), Andrew (Darlene), Gerald (Michele) and Kasia; dedicated grandmother of Joshua, Olivia, Paulina, Alex, Maegan, Hanna, Noah, Jacob, Jonathan and Joseph; sister of Donna (late Richard) Jasczynski, Theresa (Kazimierz) Niedbalowski, Roman (Renata), Julian (Anna) and Stanislaw (Donna) Szeglowski. Anna died with her family by her side on Monday. The passion for her family through personal sacrifice left a legacy that could never be forgotten. All who knew her considered her to be the essence of motherhood, not only to her own children and grandchildren, but to everyone. She will forever remain in our hearts. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:30 AM and from St. John Gualbert Church at 10 AM. Internment St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
