Loving and dedicated mother to Constantin (Pina) and ever-loving grandmother of Nikita and Franco. Beloved sister to Christina Varelas and August (Thalia). Resting peacefully at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Home, 1255 Beaumont, Town of Mount Royal. Visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral service to be held Thursday, April 15, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. from the Church of the Evangelismos Tis Theotokou, 777 St. Roch, Montreal. Interment at Cote des Neiges Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Canadian Diabetic Association or to the Montreal Children's Hospital.
