SLINGERLANDS Anna Elizabeth (Hoberg) Anderson, 94, died peacefully on June 8, 2004 in the Hospice at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, N.Y. after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Carl Seth Anderson who died in 1992. Mrs. Anderson was born February 25, 1910 in Mendon, Mass., the daughter of the late Per Jon and Marie (Blom) Hoberg. She attended Mendon Schools and graduated from Bryant & Stratton Secretarial School in Boston. Mrs. Anderson had been a resident of Hopedale for 50 years before moving to the Albany, N.Y. area in 2001. Mrs. Anderson enjoyed knitting, making handmade braided rugs, propagating African violets and cooking for her family. Mrs. Anderson is survived by one son, Kurt D. Anderson, and his wife, Joyce, of Slingerlands, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Cheryl Kelly and her husband David of Ballston Lake, N.Y., Linda Stewart and her husband John of Slingerlands, N.Y.; one grandson, Robert Anderson and his wife, Mary, of Glenmont, N.Y.; six great-grandchildren, Elissa Kelly, Megan Kelly, Evan Stewart, Stephen Stewart, Ian Anderson and Ryan Anderson; one niece, Ruth Kimball of Woodstock, Conn. and one nephew, Robert Hoberg of Upton; and many great nieces and nephews. There will be no public visiting hours. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2004 in the George Street Cemetery, George St., Mendon. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
