White, Anne M. LOUDONVILLE Anne Mangano White, 69, died on July 12, 2011 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany surrounded by her family. Born on October 17, 1941, Anne was a daughter of the late Benedict and Mary Lang-worthy Mangano. She was a graduate of the Academy of the Holy Names in Albany after having initially attended Vincentian Institute in Albany for her first two years of high school. She furthered her education at Nazareth College in Rochester, N.Y., and did graduate study in merchandising at New York University. Anne resided in Paris, with her sister Susie, for several years and later returned to Menands. She soon after took employment with the New York Telephone Company and it was there that she met her future husband, Paul F. White. They were married and had three sons. Sadly, Paul passed away unexpectedly in 1988. An Artist, Anne was a longtime member of the Colonie Art League and served a term as the organization's vice-president in charge of demonstrations. From 2000 through 2010, she was a member of the Local Color Art Gallery, where she exhibited her water color paintings and was active on the gallery organizing committee. The place she loved the most was the beautiful cabin set in Clear Creek Valley in Wyoming, where she spent a month each year renewing her spirit and her creative drive. Anne is survived by her three loving sons, Mark W. (Heather) White, Chris White and Jason White; her three adoring grandchildren, Logan, Ella and Emma White; her cherished companion, Ron McLean; her dear sister, Susan Thirolle (Jean Claude); and her two dear nephews, Eric and Stephen Thirolle. Anne's funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church on Menand Road in Menands, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Reverend Kofi Ntsiful-Amissah, pastor. Interment will follow, next to her husband, in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call at the Bowen & Parker Bros. Funeral Home, 97 Old Loudon Rd. in Latham on Friday from 4 until 7 p.m. The care that Anne received at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital was very much appreciated by her family. To those who wish to remember her in a special way, please send a donation, in her memory, to the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital, 315 South Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
