Ann Patricia Williams, age 91, of St. Augustine, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2007, at Samantha Wilson Care Center. Ann was a native of Clinton, Mass., but spent most of her married life in San Diego, Calif.Ann was a registered nurse in the U.S.N.R. during World War II and worked in several physicians offices post-war. She volunteered for several civic organizations, and served as president of the Assistance League of Southern California for two years. Ann was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed playing golf and tennis, winning many local competitions. She and her husband Frank traveled extensively always enjoying new places and experiences.Ann is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Frank D. Williams, and her sister-in-law Mary Mitchell of St. Augustine; several nieces and nephews, including Ann Mitchell, Mary Ellen Besnia and Joseph Mitchell of St. Augustine; Jimmy Mitchell, Marlene, Mary Ellen, Paul and David Conger (Massachusetts), Jeff and Maggie Williams (Oregon), Mike Williams (California), Sarah Mitchell, Martina Mitchell-Sullivan (Maine) and several great-nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be on May 30th, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Craig's Funeral Home, 1475 Old Dixie Hwy.
