Ann Miller (nee Elo) Whiting Ann Miller (nee Elo), age 93, of Whiting, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2004 at the Dyer Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Miller who passed away November 16, 1981. She is survived by her son, Louis J. (Nancy) Miller of Griffith; four grandchildren: Ellen Miller and William (Sue) Miller, both of Griffith, Susan (John) Regnier of Highland and Kenneth (Catherine) Miller of Hammond; 11 great-grandchildren; Ryan Bandura, Jordan and Andrea Villarreal, Stefanie Regnier, Kyle, Caitlin, Allison and Danny Miller, Victor and Nicholas Gonzales and Desai Moore. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 10, 2004 at 9:30 a.m. at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting, 10:00 a.m. Liturgy at St. Mary's Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church, Whiting, with the Rev. Joseph Pohorlak officiating. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Parastas Service at the funeral home Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. Ann Miller was born April 6, 1911 in Hungary, to Joseph and Ann Elo and immigrated to the United States in 1912. She married Louis Miller at St. Mary's Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church in 1930 and was a lifelong resident of Whiting.
