Smith, Ann Louise SLINGERLANDS Ann Louise Kennedy Smith, 80, formerly of Ridgewood and Mahwah, N.J., died Friday, September 26, 2008 at the Community Hospice of Albany Inn at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in Brooklyn, Ann had lived in N.J. for many years. She was a 30 year volunteer at the Kurth Cottage at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood and a member of the altar guild at Christ Church in Ridgewood. She is survived by her husband, Lee T. Smith Jr.; children, Jeffrey Lee Smith (Patricia Rockwell) of Little Falls, N.Y., Marian Smith Quirk (John) of Vienna, Va. and Peter Wilder Smith (Jennifer) of Slingerlands; brother, Harold D. Kennedy Jr., of Hilton Head Island, S.C.; and grandchildren, Lee II, David, Morgan, Samuel, Katie, Grace, Jacob, John and Ben. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2008 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 85 Elm Ave., Delmar. All other services will be private at the convenience of the family.
