WRENS, Ga. - Mrs. Ann Lewis, 79, wife of the late Charles H. Lewis Sr. and the daughter of the late Cyrus White Kitchens Sr. and Nettie Rae Kitchens, entered into rest January 25, 2007 at St. Joseph Hospital. Funeral services will be Sunday, January 28, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. at Wrens Baptist Church with Dr. Julian West and Dr. Mason Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Wrens Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening January 27, 2007 from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mrs. Lewis was a Faithful and loving member of the Wrens Baptist Church, where she was faithful member of Woman's Missionary Union she was member of Agnes Martin - Lucy Howard Sunday School Class, she was also a prayer warrior in the church and was a Homemaker. Survivors include, three sons; Charles "Buster" (Wynell) Lewis, Jr., Billy Lewis, Greg (Kathy) Lewis all of Wrens, two daughters; Charlotte (Rocky) Gilmore, Louisville, Martha Ann (Chris) Rountree, Statesboro, a brother; Cyrus White Kitchens Jr. three sisters; Faye K. McNair, Marion K. Evans, Carolyn K. Cox, 12 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren. Pallbearers will be John Andrew Jenkins, Hank Gilmore, Zachary Lewis, Thomas Lewis, Chris Goodwin, Bucky Stroud, John Kitchens, Mark Thompson, Tommy Kitchens, Sam McNair and Eric Thompson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Agnes Martin - Lucy Howard Sunday School Class. Memorials may be made to Wrens Baptist Church P.O. Box 217 Wrens Ga. 30833. James Funeral Home- Wrens, GA.
