Ann Shirley (Beaton) Jordan, of Kingston, died peacefully on Oct. 2, 2014. Ann was born in Brookline, Jan. 22, 1937 to the late Ronald and Agnes Beaton. Shirley was the loving wife and best friend of Clifford P. Jordan Sr. of Plympton, Mass. Inspirational mother to Donna Jordan Mihos married to John Mihos of Kingston, Mass. Pre-deceased by her son Clifford P. Jordan Jr. and his wife Jean Jordan of East Bridgewater, Mass. Sister of William Beaton and his wife Elizabeth Storm of Roslindale, Mass., Mary Margaret Canney and the late Joseph Canney of Brookline, Mass., the late Morris Beaton and Catherine MacArthur. Devoted grandmother to Amanda Regan and Jonathan Mihos. Great-grandmother of Jordan, Aiden and Princess Aria. Survived by her former daughter-in-law Lynne Florindo and dear family friend Kevin Kelley. Shirleys priorities were her husband and family. She worked in retail for a number of years and then along with her husband Cliff owned their own business prior to retirement. They enjoyed traveling especially to Myrtle Beach going to the casinos and the simple daily pleasures of life. Shirley was quirky, funny, honest, quick witted, extremely open hearted and a friend to all. Celebrate Shirleys life at St. Theclas Church, 145 Washington Street, Pembroke, Mass. at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014.
