Entered into eternal rest on the evening of August 2, 2008, Ann Johnson, wife of Robert Johnson, residence, Ravenel, South Carolina. The family and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johnson are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter, Tuesday morning, August 5, 2008, at ten o'clock. Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, Monday afternoon from five until seven o'clock. Ann was born in Charleston, West Virginia, a daughter of Raymond Ray Spencer and Belva Cadle Spencer. She was employed part-time with Nancy's Exotic Florist and loved working with flowers and gardening. Ann's favorite pastime was working in her gardens and spending time with her family. Surviving are her husband, Robert Johnson; three sons, Robert Jarvis, Gary Jarvis and Dan Jarvis of Charleston, S.C.; two daughters, Deb Blickenstaff of Greenville, S.C., and Beth Dennis of Charleston, S.C.; six sisters, Betty Edwards of Columbus, Ohio, Helen Tanner, Janet Gandee, Judy Lovejoy, and Nancy Cruikshank, of Charleston, W.Va., and Connie Johnson of Beckley, W.Va.; one brother, Roger Spencer of Charleston, W.Va.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Bethel Jean and Kay; two brothers, Gene and David Spencer. A memorial message may be sent to the family by visiting our Web site at www.jhenrystuhr.com
