Ann Jackson, conjointe de Patrick Jackson, fille de Harry et Rose, est décédée le 15 juillet 2011. Veuillez consulter son avis de décès ici:
JACKSON, Ann Millicent1941 - 2011Ann Jackson passed away peacefully on Friday, July 15, 2011 at the Peter Lougheed Hospital. She will be remembered forever by her husband Patrick, her children Rick and Kristina, and of course her dog Jazz. She is survived by her brother Harry and his wife Eleanor in Toronto, ON, her brother Leslie and his wife Pat in Walleroo, Australia and her sister-in-law Pat in Hastings, England. Ann was predeceased by her brother Reg and her parents Harry and Rose Beale. Ann was born in 1941 in Combe Down, England, married Patrick in 1959, had their son Rick in 1960 followed by Kristina in 1962. They all then moved to Canada in 1963. They lived in Windsor, ON for two years and then moved to Calgary which became their home. Some of Ann's interests were knitting, gardening, flowers and especially orchids. Many friends have come and gone over the years in Calgary, all fondly remembered by her. Ann received a lung transplant about twelve years ago and we are forever grateful for the superb medical attention both at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, and the Peter Lougheed Transplant Unit in Calgary. This life-saving transplant allowed Ann and her family to enjoy many more things that are now so important to us. For example, holidays with Patrick in Victoria, her daughter Kristina's wedding to Marty, her 50th wedding anniversary, and her 70th birthday in May 2011. A Celebration of Ann's Life will be held at the Jackson family home on Saturday, July 23 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, and if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Southern Alberta Organ & Tissue Donation Program, Calgary Health Region, Foothills Medical Centre, 1403 - 29 Street N.W., Calgary, AB, T2N 2T9. Expressions of sympathy may be left for the family at www.southcalgaryfuneralcentre.ca . SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE and CREMATORIUM (at Lake Fraser Gate). Telephone: 403-297-0711. Honoured Provider of Dignity Memorial.
