Ann P. Hall, 93, widow of Jasper H. "Jap" Hall, formerly of Griffin Drive, died Monday, March 12, 2007, at Mountain Home Health and Rehab, Hendersonville, N.C.Born in Birmingham, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Carl and Lurlene King Powell.Mrs. Hall was retired from J.C. Penney and was a member of Francis Asbury United Methodist Church.Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Linda Hall of Simpsonville; a brother, Charles Powell of Franklin, N.C.; four grandchildren, Alexander, Kelly, Patrick and Allison; and three great-grandchildren, Victoria, Alexis and John Patrick. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greenville Humane Society, 328 Furman Hall Road, Greenville, SC 29609; or to Concerned Citizens for Animals, 3627 Fork Shoals Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680.Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 14, 2007, from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 15, 2007, at 1:30 p.m. in the downtown chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.The family will be at the residence, 14 Griffin Drive.
