->BUCKSPORT - Ann Elizabeth Adams (Hanscom) - 5-13-1934, passed away February 24, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Ann grew up in Machias and moved to Bucksport with her parents after High School so her father could manage the State Liquor Store. There she met the man of her dreams Arthur Adams and adored him for 61 years. Ann was devoted to her family and made each and every one of us feel special. Her upbeat, and always positive attitude and wonderful sense of humor made her loved by all who knew her.Ann made everyone feel welcome and at ease everywhere she went. Her courage and strength were an inspiration to everyone and she dealt with her struggles with dignity and grace.Ann loved her gardens and home. She and Arthur enjoyed many wonderful summers around their pool with family and friends. They were flawless dance partners and spent many a Saturday night gliding across the Jed Prouty dance floor. She will miss eating out with her "Club Girls" who have been together for over 50 years and annual reunions with all of her childhood friends from Machias.Ann is lovingly missed by Arthur, her children, Linda and husband Joel, Kim and husband Mike, David and his wife, Michele and former son-in-law, Rob Greenlaw; her grandchildren, Megan and her husband, Jeffrey and their children, Beckett, Mena, Sevan, Ketan and Asa, Jessica and her husband, Derek and daughter, Gabriella, Ian and his love, Erica, Brittni and Aaron, Logan and Kayla and their son, Owen, Zak and Ethan and her brother, Richard L. Hanscom III. She was predeceased by her father, Richard L. Hanscom II; her mother, Evelyn (Hamilton) Hanscom; and sister, Barbara Hanscom Holden.In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in memory of Ann to the Elm Street Congregational Church, P.O.
