Ann Brown, 64, of New Albany, Ind., formerly of the Florence, Ala., and Lawrenceburg, Tenn., areas, passed away Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at her home.She was born in Mansfield, Ohio, and was a founding member of the Parkinson Support Group of Southern Indiana.She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl R. Simmons and Ruby Walls Skinner, and a son, Jimmy.Survivors include her husband, Mel, five children, six grandchildren, a brother and sister.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the Flatwoods Freewill Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., with a graveside service at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kidd Cemetery in Lawrenceburg. Memorial gifts may be made to the Ann Brown Memorial Fund for the Parkinson's Support Group of Southern Indiana, c/o Ratterman Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Ky., 40218.
