Anita Pelletier February 15, 1937 - February 27, 2009 DANIELSON - Anita F. Pelletier, 72, of Maple Court died on Friday at Pierce Memorial Baptist Home in Brooklyn. Born in Danielson on Feb. 15, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Viateur and Cecile (Raymond) Pelletier. She attended St. James School in Danielson. Upon completion of her education, she worked in many local industries as a lead person, including Jacobs Rubber and New England Plasma, retiring in 2002. Anita was very active in her church. One of her responsibilities was in the accounting of the weekly collection, a job she performed faithfully for fifty-four years. She was an accomplished knitter and crocheter, and donated many items that she made to those in need. Her feisty personality and caring nature will be missed by many. Anita was a member of the Killingly/Brooklyn Women's Club and the Daughters of Isabella. She assisted with the 1000 Club at St. James. She also was a Girl Scout Leader and taught CCD at St. James. She was a communicant of St. James Church in Danielson. She leaves a sister Denise Albetski and her husband William of Danielson; several nieces and nephews; and several godchildren. She was predeceased by a sister Rose Perry. Following cremation, relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Church, Danielson. Burial following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Danielson. There are no calling hours. Donations in her memory may be made to St. James School, 12 Franklin St, Danielson, CT 06239. Gagnon-Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds St, Danielson is in charge of arrangements
