JOHNSON - Anita (nee Stopford) of Pompton Plains on Saturday, May 29, 2004 receiving the loving care of her family. She had fought a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of 29 years to Robert B. Johnson. Loving mother of Derek B. Johnson and his fianc` Elizabeth Kirwan and Annin Johnson. Loved sister of Mary Ellen Francis and her husband Harold, Margaret Stopford Ferraiolo and her husband John and her identical twin sister Anne Stopford Polizzatto and her husband Phil. Her brother-in-law Bruce Johnson and his wife Phyllis; her mother-in-law Mary H. Johnson and eight nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9 AM from the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne then to Our Lady of Good Council RC Church, Pompton Plains where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Interment will be in Pompton Reformed Church Cemetery in Pompton Lakes. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Anita's memory to the American Cancer Society, 468 Parish Drive, Suite 6, Wayne, NJ 07470 would be appreciated.
