Anita J. Anderson Anita J. Anderson BROCKTON Anita J. (Simeone) Anderson, of Brockton and formerly of Cambridge, passed away Jan. 22, 2010, after 40 years of courageously battling Multiple Sclerosis. Born Feb. 13, 1939, in Somerville, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Lena Simeone. She was raised in Cambridge and was a graduate of Cambridge High and Latin and had been a Brockton resident for 45 years. Anita loved to sing and always had a song in her heart and loved to tell a good joke. She enjoyed bingo, the Red Sox, but most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was the beloved wife of Raymond L. Anderson for 51 wonderful years and the devoted mother of three children, two sons, Brian T. and his wife Lisa of Stoughton, Michael J. and his wife Tracy Jo of Norton; and daughter, Linda M. of Brockton. She was the loving Nana to four grandchildren, Abigail, Brett, Michael and Nicole. She was the sister of the late Thomas Simeone and Elizabeth Simeone Rubin of Saugus. Funeral service will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton, Wednesday, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday, 5-8 p.m. Burial at a later date.
