Anita Lynn Williams Brooks, 43, of 496-B Old Pelzer Road, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007. Born in Cape Charles, Va., she was a daughter of Linda Gail Kelly Williams and the late David Robert "Bobby" Williams. She was a former nursing assistant. In addition to her mother of Piedmont, she is survived by daughter, Nikki Brooks of the home; sister, Lisa Dianne Williams of Piedmont; uncle, Cliff Kelly and his wife, Gina, of Spokane, Wash.; aunts and their husbands, Louise and Ray Cothran of Pelzer, Gloria and Johnny Golightly of Berea, and Joyce Williams of Fort Mill; and her beloved pets, Snookie and Little. No services are planned at this time. The family is at the home of Lisa Williams, 496 Old Pelzer Road, Piedmont, where they will receive friends until Saturday. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Gray Mortuary, Pelzer is in charge of arrangements.
