WelderWINTER HAVEN -- Mr. Andy Smith of Winter Haven died of respiratory failure Tuesday (Dec. 24, 2002). He was 89.Born Sept. 24, 1913, in Ferrell, Pa., he came here from Greenville, Pa., 27 years ago. Mr. Smith was a retired welder for Chicago Bridge and Iron. He was a Presbyterian.Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian. He is survived by his sons, Stanley Smith, Winter Haven, and Paul Smith, Greenville; daughter, Alice Smith, Erie, Pa.; sister, Victoria Smith, Ferrell; eight grandchildren; and nine greatgrandchildren.
