January 18, 2006 Andrea Elizabeth Jones, 57, of Liverpool, formerly of Upper Marlboro, MD, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday peacefully in her sleep at the home of her daughter Sherry. Andrea served in the United States Navy and received the Third Good Conduct Award in 1988, the Joint Service Communication Medal and the Navy Achievement Medal. She retired as a chief petty officer in 1989 after 13 years of service. Andrea received an associate of communication in 1982, a bachelor's in business management in 1987 from University of Leverne, a bachelor's of management of telecommunications services from Capitol College and a bachelor's in theology at Washington Bible College. She was predeceased by her son, Darin Kenneth Jones. Survivors: daughter, Sherry Monique Jones of Liverpool; sisters, Theresa Thompson of North Carolina and Cecilia Jenkins of New York, NY; brothers, Frederick Robert, Edwin Windbush and Grant (Burt) Sanders, all of New York, NY. Several godchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous close friends also survive her. Services: 11 a.m. February 4, at Largo Community Church, 1701 Enterprise Rd., Mitchellville, MD 20721. There will be a calling hour from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Burial with full military honors on February 7 in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. TINDALL FUNERAL HOME INC
