GOFFSTOWN -- Andre L. Lavallee, 61, died March 9, 2011, after a sudden illness at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester. He was born in Manchester, son of Laurier and Beatrice (Montplaisir) Lavallee. He was raised in Pinardville and graduated from Bishop Bradley High School. A talented carpenter, he was a partner of Eddy & Andy's Remodeling. He was an active member of the community serving as an election official, founder and leader of Goffstown Cub Scouts and teacher with the N.H. Technical Institute. He was a member of the Alpine Club, a fan of NASCAR and Boston Red Sox. He enjoyed spending time fishing with family and friends at his camp on the Piscataquog River. His greatest joy came from being active with his son in local sports and school activities. Members of his family include his wife of 33 years, Gail L. Lavallee of Goffstown; a son, Adam L. Lavallee of Pennsylvania; three siblings, Leo G. Lavallee of Greenville, Pauline R. Carreau of Pinardville and Simone J. Biedenbach of Ontario, N.Y.; several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. in French and Rising Funeral Home, 17 S. Mast St., Goffstown. A private funeral will be held at the convenience of the family.
