He was born on May 10, 1935 in Tompkinsville, KY to the late Clyde Moore and Robbie Milam Moore. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Yvonne Harrison Moore; brother, Tobe Moore and two sisters, Lou Hogan and Wanda Harris. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 11 a.m., at Hilldale Church of Christ, with Brother Steve Kirby and Brother Roy Goodmiller officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 4-7 p.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home and Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. Ambris (AC) was retired from Hopkinsville Elevator. He was also a member of Hilldale Church of Christ where he served as a deacon. He is survived by his wife, Betty Coles Moore of Clarksville, TN; two sons, Marty (Robin) Moore of Cunningham, TN and Todd (Tammy) Moore of Clarksville, TN; three step-sons, Jeff (Sally) Thomas of Russellville, KY, Mike (Lori) Thomas of Mt. Juliet, TN and Jeremy (Cindy) Thomas of Bowling Green, KY; two brothers, Freddie Moore of Springfield, TN and Follis (Brenda) Moore of Guthrie, KY; three sisters, Betty (James) Watkins, Inez Proffitt and Alice Hayes; two grandchildren, Lexi Moore and Linzi Moore; ten step-grandchildren; and ten step-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Roy Burkhart, David Downey, Shane Moore, Neal Harris, Lance Carpenter, Bud Leavelle, Michael Lee, and Daryl Moore. Honorary Pallbearers will be Deacons and Elders of Hilldale Church of Christ, and co-workers of Hopkinsville Elevators. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hilldale Church of Christ, 501 Highway 76, Clarksville, TN 37040.
