Alton J. Johnson, 73, formerly of Louisville, died Saturday, April 24, 2004, in Leesville, LA. He was a native of Long Pine, LA. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and retired from American Bakery and Painters Local #118. Survivors include his wife, Meldaise Johnson; sons, Johnnie, Terry and Alton L. Johnson; a daughter, Judy Johnson; a sister, Marie Reihl; a brother, Curtis Johnson; grandchildren, Debbie, Shannon, Terri, Lynn, T.J., Travis, Christy, Linda and Jenny; and great- grandchildren, Hunter, Katlyn, Bailey and Jason. His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
