Alpha Young Alexander, 74, of 208 Pine Street, went home to be with the Lord Friday, April 6, 2007, at Palmetto Health Baptist - Easley.Born in Liberty, she was a daughter of the late Tommy and Ora Kelly Young. She was a homemaker, member of Senior Citizens Unlimited and of the Baptist faith.Surviving are her husband, Marvin Alexander of the home; two daughters, Tammy Williams and her husband, Keith, and Kelley McKittrick, both of Easley; one sister, Millie Young Burrage and her husband, Jim, of Meridian, Miss.; two stepsons, Jerry McKittrick of Bethel, N.C., and Larry McKittrick of Townville, S.C.; two stepdaughters, Shelby Merck of Clemson and Sherry Lopez of Easley; three grandchildren, Nathan, Brittney and Amanda; one great-grandchild, Alyssa; three stepgrandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by two husbands, Fred McKittrick and Kenneth Brooks.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2007, at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with the Reverends Charlie Bishop and Greg Thornhill officiating.
