Alma Neal Collins, 85, Cynthiana, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014 at her residence.She was the daughter of the late William Bruce and Corniela Mae Maples Neal, a retired nurse for the Palm Beach Memorial Hospital and the Grant County Hospital, and a member of Riverview Baptist Church. On Dec. 15, 1945 she was united in marriage to C. B. Collins Jr. who preceded her in death in 1978. She was also preceded in death by three children, Ronnie, Douglas, and Deborah Collins, two brothers, Karl and Beuford Neal, and one sister, Mildred Lowe.Survivors include: four daughters, Neva (Mike) Hays, Berry, Sandra (Fred Edwards) Franks, Cynthiana, Pamela (Jack Reid) Hart, Jupiter, Fla., and Susan C. Race, Cynthiana; three sons, C. B. Collins III, Alpharetta, Ga., Kevin L. Collins, Arlington, Texas, and Tony (LeAnn) Collins, Williamstown; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 30 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, Ky., followed by burial in the Williamstown Cemetery.Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of the Bluegrass, 1317 US Hwy. 62E, Cynthiana, KY 41031.
