Mrs. Miller was born on January 23, 1935 in Ashe County to Benjamin Denis and Mamie Osborne Barker. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of fifty-nine years, Marion "Hal" Miller. She loved spending time with her family. She was gifted with faith and love. She loved to dance, listen to music, cook, travel and spend time on her front porch looking at the valley. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and neighbor. She was a member of Lansing Presbyterian Church.Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Herb Parunak. Burial will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00 PM on Saturday prior to the service.Mrs. Miller is survived by: one daughter, Pamela Hinnant and husband Frank of Warrensville; two grandchildren, Jessica Hinnant of Boone and Gregory Hinnant of Charlotte; sister in-law, Mary Waldrop of Warrensville.
