PHANEUF, Allie May (nee Cooper). January 26, 1912 - February 8, 2000. Taken home to our Heavenly Father at the Centre Hospitalier Universite Laval on Tuesday, February 8, 2000 at age eighty-eight, following a short illness, having lived independently up to the last few days of her life. She is the daughter of Anna Gustafva Jacobsson of Karlshame, Sweden and Alfred Fairbanks Cooper of Quebec City. She leaves to remember her affectionately her son Sheldon J. Phaneuf and her daughter-in-law, Anne Mary O'Donnell; her granddaughter Ingrid Maryanna and her companion Edward Barth; her grandson Sheldon and his wife Cindy Rolfe; nephews and nieces, especially Franklyn Cooper (Agathe), Dale Cooper Marcoux (Gilles), Joan Cooper Bullock (Steve) and cousins Mabel and Alfred Cooper. She is predeceased by brothers Frank and Arthur and survived by brother Harold. Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 12, 2000 at Cooperative Funeraire du Plateau, 950 des Erables, Quebec City from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Celebration of her life will follow at 1 p.m. at St. Michael's Anglican Church, 1800 chemin St. Louis, Sillery and burial at Mount Hermon Cemetery, Sillery. A reception will be held in the church hall following the burial.
